Primary Responsibilities of the Purchasing Management person will include:
- Impeccable customer care.
- Preparing new orders and quotes.
- Purchasing for jobs done in-house.
- Answering phones & customer inquiries.
- Supporting and leading our sales support staff in any way necessary.
The ideal candidate will have:
- The ability to GET THINGS DONE.
- A commitment to our customer's needs.
- A dedication to quality and impeccable attention to DETAIL.
- Good computer skills.
- Flexibility & resourcefulness.
- An ability to work independently toward the goals of the team.
- A basic understanding of a manufacturing environment.
Experience in a manufacturing environment / machine shop or metals knowledge would be a big plus, but is not required. A track record of previous job stability is absolutely essential.
